1. Subject-Verb Agreement (कर्ता आणि क्रियापद करार)

नियम: जेव्हा वाक्यात Each, Every, Neither, Either येतात, तेव्हा क्रियापद नेहमी Singular (एकवचनी) असते.

❌ Error: Each of the students are playing.

✅ Correct: Each of the students is playing.

टीप: 'Students' अनेकवचनी असले तरी 'Each' (प्रत्येक) मुळे क्रियापद 'is' येते.

2. No Sooner ... Than (तुलना करताना)

नियम: No Sooner सोबत नेहमी 'Than' जोडी येते. परीक्षेत 'When' किंवा 'Then' देऊन फसवले जाते.

❌ Error: No sooner did I reach the station when the train left.

✅ Correct: No sooner did I reach the station than the train left.

MPSC Hint: लक्षात ठेवा - Sooner हे Comparative degree आहे, म्हणून त्यासोबत 'Than' येते.

3. Use of 'Lest' (असे होऊ नये म्हणून)

नियम: Lest या शब्दासोबत नेहमी 'Should' हेच Modal Auxiliary येते. तसेच Lest स्वतः नकारात्मक असल्याने त्यात 'Not' वापरू नका.

❌ Error: Work hard lest you may fail.

✅ Correct: Work hard lest you should fail.

4. One of the + Plural Noun

नियम: One of the नंतर येणारे नाम (Noun) नेहमी अनेकवचनी (Plural) असते, पण क्रियापद एकवचनी असते.

❌ Error: He is one of the best player.

✅ Correct: He is one of the best players.
